Unisound Establishes Workplace First Aid Team
To support the development of an occupational health framework under its ESG commitments and strengthen its ability to respond to workplace emergencies, Unisound recently held a series of safety and first aid activities and formally established a workplace first aid team. Through company-wide first aid education, specialized responder training and the provision of emergency equipment, the company is progressively strengthening its internal emergency response arrangements, turning safety awareness into practical action.
In late September, Unisound held a safety and first aid seminar open to all employees, inviting Lu Le, founder of the professional emergency response organization First Respond, to deliver the session.
With more than a decade of experience in emergency response, First Respond has provided professional first aid training and emergency response system development services to hundreds of businesses and institutions. It has also supported safety operations at more than 500 marathons, building extensive hands-on rescue experience.
During the seminar, Lu explained emergency response procedures and evidence-based first aid methods for situations including fires, choking, drowning, stroke, heart attack and cardiac arrest. The session helped employees strengthen their safety awareness and their ability to protect themselves and assist others.

Building first aid awareness is the first step; enabling more people to provide effective assistance at the scene requires further specialized training and practice. Following the seminar, Unisound launched recruitment for its internal first aid team and appointed Lu as Chief Safety Advisor, extending its efforts from company-wide education to the development of a trained response team.
On October 20, Unisound formally established its workplace first aid team. At the first hands-on training session in Beijing, the initial group of 12 members received systematic instruction and practical training in core first aid skills, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). All 12 passed the assessment with high scores and earned American Heart Association (AHA) first aid certification. The training strengthened their understanding of standardized on-scene response procedures and their ability to provide initial assistance during emergencies, building a trained pool of responders within the company.

Alongside personnel training, Unisound is also investing in first aid equipment and facilities. The company has installed AED equipment and established routine inspection and maintenance procedures to ensure that it remains reliable and ready for use in emergencies. By combining training, team development and equipment provision, Unisound is progressively strengthening its internal emergency response system, embedding safety measures in the people, skills and facilities needed to put them into practice.
Employee health and safety remain an essential foundation for the company’s stable development. Establishing the first aid team is a concrete step toward stronger employee protection and more effective internal emergency response. Looking ahead, Unisound will continue to provide safety and first aid training and improve its emergency response arrangements, integrating care for employees into the everyday working environment and taking practical steps to better protect every life.
